Application Process:
Achieving the perfect finish with SAHARA PREMIUM ORO starts with proper surface preparation:
Surface Readiness: Ensure the surface is completely dry, with at least 28 days of curing for newly applied plaster. The thickness and condition of the plaster layer can affect drying times.
Substrate Preparation: The surface should be free of granules and dust. Remove any deteriorating, dusty, or peeling paint from older walls. If needed, apply a coat of SCIK PURAL ACRIL insulation for enhanced protection.
Base Coat: Apply one or two coats of DECOR FONDO, thinned with 5-10% water. Allow it to dry for 6 to 12 hours before proceeding.
Application of SAHARA PREMIUM ORO: Mix and apply the product using a SPALTER BRUSH (mm100 or mm70) for optimal results. Once dry, you can apply a second coat to further intensify the sand motion effect.
